Magilhub Valet App – The Know How! 

The online delivery market and a need for it has significantly grown in the recent years especially after the pandemic. While we may rejoice at this change that is here to stay, the platform to consumer delivery should be made easy and effective. Restaurants and other business that offer delivery are in need of an efficient platform which is where Magilhub comes into the picture with its carefully designed Valet app. 

MagilHub’s Valet app is used to assign and track the delivery of orders and valets. Magilhub is multilateral with its solutions and thus provide multiple delivery options possible. When we talk about deliveries, there are two general ways with which a firm can carry out delivery of the orders. They are as follows: 

  1. Neighborhood Delivery – where third-party delivery partners who are equipped with their own techno platforms use their delivery person to deliver the orders to the respective customer. This is where the Magilhub’s Valet app comes into the scene to manage the deliveries using their valets or freelancers. 
  1. In-house Delivery – where merchant uses their own fleet & valets to deliver the order to the customer. 

Personas of the App: 

Magilhub’s Valet App has two personas namely: 

  1. The Merchant / Delivery Coordinator  
  1. The Delivery guy / Valet 

The Merchant uses the Valet app to track order status of the in-house delivery in the following order: Order Ready-> Out for Delivery-> Order Delivered 

The Delivery Coordinator uses the Valet app to track order status of the neighborhood delivery as: Order Ready-> Out for Delivery-> Order Delivered 

The Delivery guy or the valet carrying out delivery uses the Valet app to accept the assigned order and to make clean delivery to the customer. 

These personae are coordinated via Magilhub’s app aiding the process of customer receiving the products they ordered. 

How does it work? 

Whenever an order is placed by the customer, the order is sent to the MagilHub Merchant app. When the Merchant changes status from Order Accepted-> In Preparation-> Order ready, then the order is sent to the Valet App and SMS is sent to the customer with order number and tracking details. In-house delivery people can accept the order delivery using Valet app and can make clean delivery using it. Whenever a delivery person accepts the order, status in Valet app is changed to out for delivery and when the order is delivered the order status is marked as Delivered. 

Neighborhood Delivery works similarly, where the orders are assigned to the valets when it is accepted by the merchant. ETA is sent to the valet for picking the order on-time. Once the order is picked up it can be tracked by the customer, merchant and delivery coordinator until it gets delivered.
